Through my travels I have witnessed the majesty of mountains in various countries, including Switzerland and Japan where these photographs were captured. Mountains symbolize power and strength, rising up from the earth and maintaining their stability through all weather events. In the solitude of their mighty presence, the power of these mountains inspired strength and courage in me as I admired them from their sturdy base or high above their peaks. In this art series, I combined powerful brushstrokes with photos of mountains, standing strong whether solitary or aligned in a mountain range, steadfastly conveying their force.
